Pete Bernard
Pete holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University and numerous patents in mobile communications and imaging.
He spent fourteen years in Silicon Valley at a variety of start up and medium sized companies and then worked for Microsoft for eighteen years to drive disruptive products, services and technology partnerships including Windows Phone, Zune, KIN, the "Always Connected PC" (Qualcomm based), Azure Percept and Azure IoT. He hosted Microsoft's IoT Unicorn podcast and speaks at a variety of industry keynotes and panels.
In 2023 he founded EDGECELSIOR to help edge technology companies scale.
Pete serves on the Boards of various non-profits and is currently the President of Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue in Seattle. He also serves on the Innovation Council of Boston University Hillel and sponsors their mentoring and leadership program.
In his spare time he writes music, plays guitar and tries to stay competitive at tennis.
